State Personnel Board Hearing Advocacy Training
The State Personnel Board is pleased to announce that it will once again be offering a five-day training program focusing on hearing advocacy in SPB matters.
- Training Dates:
- October 19 to 23, 2026
8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. - Who May Attend:
- Any employee of a State agency or department, or a State employee organization, whose job duties require them to represent clients before SPB Administrative Law Judges or Hearing Officers. This training is specifically designed for non-attorneys, though attorneys with one year or less of experience will be wait-listed for attendance. This training will provide instruction and hands-on practice with SPB Administrative Law Judges in how to conduct a hearing before the SPB. Participants will present a mock hearing before an SPB Administrative Law Judge on the final day of training. Training attendance is limited to 32 participants.
