Examination Planning and Scoring Models ( Merged into 1 day class)

Overview:

This one-day course introduces the methods and techniques utilized to develop a valid and legally defensible examination plan. Emphasis is placed on the legal and professional issues surrounding examination planning, the basis of competition, recruitment considerations, weighting schemas, and scoring models.  Also discussed are the strengths and weaknesses of all exam formats, including written tests, structured interviews, work samples, and training and experience evaluations.

Objective:

 To develop and implement effective examination plans and scoring models.

Intended Audience:

Personnel analysts, managers, or individuals responsible for the development of employment testing and selection programs.
