Enhancing Communication in the Workplace

Overview:

Through administration of Inscape Publishing’s DiSC Communication Style Profile®, participants identify personal characteristics of people they work with and those styles that cause them confusion and difficulty.  They discover four primary communication behavioral styles used by individuals in the workplace and explore their own style preferences.  To expand understanding of the style differences, fifteen sub-classical patterns are further examined along with summary of the style strengths and overuse that can create misunderstanding.  Helpful suggestions are provided to manage diverse style and talents, and to create a more inclusive workforce.

Objective:

The course objective is to gain an understanding of our communication style emphasis, goals, tendencies, motivation, and also our style’s limitations under the pressure of conflict.  The objective of this practical approach is to help you create an environment that will ensure your communication style, flexibility and success.

Intended Audience:

Communication is important to employees at all levels.  Both managers and employees should attend.
