Equal Employment Opportunity Academy

The Equal Employment Opportunity Academy provides a comprehensive training program designed to address a wide range of critical issues that impact the individual, the team and the organization. Twelve classes are offered for the development of people working in the EEO field, including both 2-day accelerated and 4-day extensive EEO Investigator courses. Attendees gain an increased understanding of the relevant State and Federal laws as well as the skills to help ensure that State employees are able to work in an environment free of harassment and discrimination. The EEO Academy includes tracks for EEO Analyst, EEO Investigator, EEO Officer, EEO Counselor, and Reasonable Accommodation Coordinator. At the successful completion of each EEO Academy program, participants will receive an award of completion:

EEO Officer 

EEO Analyst & EEO Investigator 

EEO Counselor 

Reasonable Accommodation Coordinator 

The Art of Conflict Communications (formerly Having Difficult Conversations)

EEO Academy is designed for supervisors, managers, investigators, analysts, reasonable accommodation coordinators, counselors and people looking to move into those positions. EEO Academy provides seamless integration between Human Resource practices and the law. Classes are also available on an individual basis.
