Testing Validation and Construction

The Test Validation and Construction (TV&C) Program of the California State Personnel Board offers a wide variety of selection-related products and services for State of California departments. With the resources of the State of Personnel Board and the flexibility of a reimbursable program, the TV&C Program offers creative, fundamentally sound, and legally defensible staffing solutions. The TV&C Program is available to assist your department with the following products and services:

• the development and validation of state-of-the-art selection products including written tests, structured interviews, physical skills/ability tests, work simulations, assessment centers, and biodata instruments

• technical training
• the development of customized, job-related hiring interview procedures
• related technical support and consultation services&C will systematically develop strategies to improve individual and organizational performance

Our Mission
