Lori Gillihan, Special Assistant/Administrative Services Division
Lori Gillihan was appointed as the Administrative Services Division Chief in November 2011. In that capacity, she oversees the operations of the State Personnel Board’s administrative functions including human resources, fiscal services, business services, and information technology services. Ms. Gillihan also serves as Special Assistant to the Executive Officer, coordinating strategic planning activities, overseeing special projects, and preparing reports, responses, and documents for the Board, control agencies, and others.
For the past 20 years, Ms. Gillihan has served in program support, supervisory and management roles for the State of California. She had previously served as the Chief of Administrative Services and as the Fiscal Officer at SPB. She has also worked for the Department of the Youth Authority and the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
Ms. Gillihan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from California State University, Sacramento.
